A Subject Matter Expert in Accounting & Finance:

Leah holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting & Finance from McGill University and an MBA from the John Molson School of Business at Concordia University. She obtained her CPA license in 1986 and began her career in Internal Audit then transitioned to Financial Reporting at Canadian Pacific, back then the largest company in Canada dual-listed in Toronto and New York. Before launching her training practice in 1991, she was a senior financial reporting executive at DMR, a major IT consulting firm, back then listed in Toronto.

A pioneer in IFRS education, Leah began studying international standards in 1992 when she attended an international conference in Dunedin, New Zealand and has been training CPAs in IFRS since 1997. Her expertise and dedication have earned her a spot in the Ohio Society of CPAs’ Speaker Hall of Fame.
